Bio

The search for passion in any form is one of the main motivators for David. At 11 years of age he was given his first private art lessons that introduced him to the common search “What is beauty?” So, he loves art in all its forms, and enjoys the challenges of trying various mediums, techniques, and methods.

He’s taught art for many years because of his constant seeking and thirst for knowledge, and he loves and is inspired by the new energy students bring to his art and to the arts in general. In his diversified educational efforts he’s taught (in alpha order to show no singular preference) ceramics, digital art, photography, traditional art, and 3D animation.

When left to theme, he loves the ocean and the human form. It’s rare when he strays from them. In 2021 he started experimenting with taking photos of the human form, altering 3D imagery with them, re-digitizing the whole of it, and then redoing it again in oil or acrylic. Most of this recent effort is what you’ll find online at his account FineArtAmerica.
